I keep sliced meatloaf in the freezer so it is ready for a quick meal.
Over the weekend I thawed a few slices for our meal.
Instead of just warming them up, I did this!

I keep sliced meatloaf in the freezer so it is ready for a quick meal
Over the weekend I thawed a few slices for our meal. Instead of just warming them up, I did this!
I took a large frying pan and sautéed the sliced onions in butter
After a few minutes, I removed them and set them aside
I added a little more butter to the pan and added the meatloaf slices
I let them go about 5 minutes a side over medium heat
While those were crisping up, I made the gravy and side dishes
I plated the meatloaf, topped it with onions and gravy
This was a nice change from the way we usually have it
He cleaned his plate!
Finally found something similar to my Grams Slaw. My daughter loves it!
8 cups shredded cabbage
1 cup shredded carrot
1 cup chopped pineapple, drained
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
4 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
Mix cabbage, carrots and pineapple together in a bowl
Whisk mayonnaise, vinegar, brown sugar, salt, and pepper together in a bowl until dressing is smooth
Pour dressing over coleslaw mixture and toss to coat
Refrigerate at least an hour before serving so the flavors blend
Enjoy!
