Sweet and Sticky Chicken


This recipe will serve 4

3 boneless, skinless chicken breast cut into 1/2 inch cubes or strips

2 cups flour

Salt and Pepper to taste

1 tablespoon oil

4 tablespoons brown sugar

4 tablespoons honey

1/2 cup + 6 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce

4 teaspoons ginger

3 garlic cloves minced

Mix together brown sugar, honey, soy sauce, ginger and garlic in a small sauce pan

Simmer on low while chicken cooks

Coat chicken in flour, salt and pepper

Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat

Add chicken and cook until brown on all sides, takes just a few minutes

Pour sauce over chicken and simmer until thick, 10 minutes or so

Feel free to add any veggies to this dish you have on hand. I added broccoli, cauliflower, water chestnuts and bamboo shoots

Serve with rice and chow main noodles
